Another member to RB fam...

Hi guys, im new to these forums and i really like what is on here.But i don't have a car yet, because i am on a search to find a clean or atleast close enough s13 but no luck yet. Then i plan on doing a swap with a rb25det and i would like to know if i should do that. As of now i haven't messed with a car yet or gotten my hands dirty and my friend says stay with the ka for awhile but i don't want because then it'll be more money wasted after working on a ka and going with a rb25 then. So please help as to what should i stick with or what would be a better way??? Thanks in advance
