When: Saturday August 13th, 2005

Where: Old Chicago, 119th and Metcalf, Corner by Best Buy

Time: 3:00pm

Why: Good food, after eating and bs'n we can go take some pics, bs some more, then cruise to sonic or something.

Why else? Cuz I'll be back on the 10th hopefully and you guys need to step up and crawl out of your holes!

Invite your friends, I've told a bunch of people back home that have been complaining about lack of anything resembling a scene. It's time for a change.

I'll do my best to be there.... I'm heading to STL that night so I might not get to stop by.

Unless you want to rearrange this to another weekend say before/after the 13th/14th. I think some of you might want to come to this drift event in STL as well. See post in other forum...

The exit is #79 / north 169/ metcalf. If you look at a map it is on the south west part of the 435 loop. Its 2 miles south of 435 on the east corner of metcalf and 119th. Turn left on 115th though. Unless some is going to run a "t. box" or can get there front end at least 6 inches off the ground during a launch, i'll be a no show!

He's from Iowa, better directions are needed. Anywho, I'll be there dan and if all goes as planned maybe in the modified S13.

Pretty much from Iowa go I-35 South. Once you get into Kansas City look for 119th. Its going to be quite a ways into it. After you exit on 119th turn Left (East) and follow that to metcalf and you'll see the old chicago. Its going to be on the north side of the street..(Left)

You must of been out in the heat too long today! #1 Paseo bridge is closed. So umm, he would be taking the 435 detour anyway to get around the bridge. #2 I would never suggest driving downtown for a new comer. Go around the city. The switch in lanes by i-70 is a nightmare. #3 If he would be taking 35 and exit on 119th, he would be going 9 miles out of his way. Try exiting on 169 highway "metcalf". Someone should meet the guy by hooters @ 2:50 and take um up there. If not, meet the guy on 115th and metcalf ( east of the stoplight)

Theres still time before the meet. My directions are the most direct. I don't believe making him go all over the place is needed. And FYI your wrong bob.......He's probly not stupid so I think he can change lanes and all those other things. And I'm sure that he can follow directions. Mine just happen to be more direct. 119th is clear and free I don't know what your talking about paseo. Please don't be tyring to take a newcomer to KC all over the place just because there's a little construction. Direct is better....even if it takes a little longer. Less confusing on people who don't live here.

Paseo bridge is closed. Can you read ? Its on the front page of the kcstar. Try going from the north east corner (435 & 35) to south west corner. You can't go on 35. Why? Paseo bidge is closed. He would have to follow the detour. The detour signs say 435. Sounds like your trying to confuse the guy. Your from lawrence, ks. Maybe someone from kansas city area should give directions. If someone can't go from 105th and metcalf to 115th and metcalf, they got problems!

bob, you need to listen. You don't know everything. YOUR the one trying to confuse him. Your also the one person that people make fun of....why? because you don't know what your talking about. I'll leave it at that. FYI just to prove my case, I don't live in Lawrence bob. I'm in KC just like you and almost everyone else here. That just goes to show you how much you think you know. As for the paper, yes I can read but I don't have time to read it because frankly its filled with 99% BS. The only reason anyone would read it is to entertain them. I have other thigs to occupy my time, and the paper isn't one of them.

Dan, this is a perfect example of what I was talking about.......

Dude, it is common for people to have a hard time understanding me. I can also be a pain in the *** when people don't stop to listen to what i'm trying to say.

Heres the deal. I 35 uses the paseo bridge. As i said, it's closed! I've known it was closed for 2 months . He can either take the detour (435) or jump over to the broadway bridge. If your from kc, you should of known this already. Are we done talking about this? If you guys are having a prob, just tell me. If holly and johhie would not of offered to work on my 240 last summer, i'd be racing at national events right now. And, if Russ would not of ripped me off, i'd be showing you guys how to add 10+ more horsepower to your cars, how to drift better, how to get your frontend off the ground (pop a wheelie). Good freaking lord, you have no idea the crap i know! Dussing me doesn't get you any brownie points in my book. As i said, i'll be a no-show at the meets.

yup, your a fountain of knowledge....you sure know alot more than anyone else in KC. I'm glad that you keep contributing. I really am interested in how to pop wheelies in my S13 can you please tell me...I've always wanted to know. Oh and why your at it can you give me some tips to be a better drifter? Oh wait, thats right I'm out of brownie points...well darn. I'm sooo sad now. I'll never learn everything I wanted to. After all, what does someone with a 400whp motor know? I suppose nothing...eh it doesn't matter that they built it themselves and didn't send it off...they still have no idea what they're talking about...I'm going to go cry in a corner now.

Dag nabit. Bob, Aaron, end the arguement now. This is not the place for that. Bob, you've continued to instigate the arguement after I asked for it to end. Consider this a warning. You've gotten your point accross, so now get back on topic or move on please. Now can't we all just get along

See you guys there I'll be the one peeling out through the parking lot sideways through the spectators.

Parking hard > *

Seriously lets have a good meet like in the old days. Now we just have to worry about pissing off the staff at old Chicago by bringing 'too many people'.

What's up guys?!?!? I'm working my butt off to try and get the 240 in a drivable condition for the meet. I don't know that it will be fully tuned, but I hope to have it running. I finished up the intercooler piping last night, so I'm all set there. I've just got to get the standalone wired up now. Man I hate wiring.....

I might have to join for later meets but it is almost midterms, and that is a two hour drive, but during the break I bet I could make it.
