So i've been told that the max power the stock internals on a KA is 400hp. I only have 52,000 miles on my KA24. Since i have a lower milage KA would mine hold more?? Doesnt it very from engine to engine?? Anyone have an idea on how much i can hold?

Sorry if this is a "newb" question, im kind of new to turbocharging

Thanks a lot

Pistons fry at 400hp.Rods are good to 450-550. However we have had some good bad at 350 and 430. Whether it is the rod itself or just who assembeled your engine that day. Depends on the life of the engine.Your 53k miles could of been worse than my 179k.

those numbers are way too high. if you're not a crazy risk taker like WD...stay under 350hp

If you plan for nayhting over 350.Swap your pistons out.But being your already there do your rods aa well. I wouldn't recommend over 350rwhp on stock internals.
