Another Ipod Question

I have been searching the forums looking for a final outcome on the issue regarding hooking up an IPOD/MP3 player to a non sat equipped G35. I have seen several people ask the question and then it not get answered. Please dont do that to me...lol...anyhow I want to hook up an MP3 player (not necessarily and IPOD) to my factory HU...i dont have $1000 to spend taking out the stereo, buying additional dash covers, new AC control etc. I have seen the USA SPEC referrenced several times. I have also come across an Peripherals PXNI adapter. I would like some feedback as to which is the best. I found the PXNI here:

Looks like USA Spec and PAC/Peripheral need a Sat ready deck without a Sat tuner connected.

look as far as i know even the ones with out sat in them are still optional with the button inside.....this means you still have the button but it dont do ****.

i have an 03 coupe the usa spec for that model will not work i called usa spec and also emailed them. it's only good for the 04-06 models like it's listed on the usa spec website. i've called the icarkits and told them and they said they were going to fix the site to not show support for the 03 coupe if anyone knows how to install it that would be great

Thanks for your help. So Am I correct in assuming (and I hate to do that) the USA Spec will work for mine? I have the Bose system with out the Sat button but I was told that it could be ran through the FM modulator, i also remember seeing someone say they ran it through the in dash changer and it was on disc 6. Again thanks for your help
