Since I can't seen to get enough Nissan these days, today I purchased another Infiniti. This time it is an I-30. I bought it for $300.

This one needs a new ECM.

The owner did a reasonably good job of keeping it maintained. It has a new alternator, fuel pump, and radiator.

I'm going to pick-n-pull this afternoon to look for ECMs. I would like to convert it to a 97 model, ECM, TCM, and EGR..

The I30 was sort of the perfect I model. The later I35 was almost too powerful for a front driver. Nice score for sure.

I remember getting I35 models as loaner cars, and totally agree- they had too much power for the platform- accelerating while even slightly cornering caused the torque steer to almost yank the steering wheel right out of your hands, and point the car in a direction you never intended to travel.down-right dangerous to any driver not familiar with the vehicle.

IT RUNS!

Picked up a $30 ECM from a wrecked 1999 Maxima at the pick-n-pull in LIT.

The local dealer offered to reprogram the ECM for $115.

I enjoy doing business with Superior Nissan. Their service department is treating me RIGHT.
