i just took off and cleaned iacv 2 days ago. idle improved greatly. then today its back. when i come to stop it drops down to 5 or 600rpm then goes back up. sometimes it just sits there, givin gas helps sometimes, and then gets worse and even cuts off at times. after cutting off, pulled code 55. ive tested 3 maf, theyre good. voltage right and cant rev too high when unplugged. tps is reading right. could it be the electrical side of the iacv. i was lookin in fsm and the only test i can do is resistance test on valve. which i have 10.6ohm on bottom 2 wires of plug 21.8 on top 2.

thanks for any advice.

Check your grounds. also do a boost leak test.. a small leak would cause it to stumble at idle

no boost leaks. and just sanded and shined up all ground connections. just yesterday it would only drop to 750 or so and right back at 8 to 850. now it'll drop to 600 then go back up. or it'll drop and stay there and get worse buncing around 5 to 6 and then lower and stalling. still code is 55.tried extra ecu i have but it must be tuned. just at idle tons of black smoke.so no go w/ that thing.

pcv is good.

she is now fixed. decided to try spraying carb cleaner in iacv hose w/ motor running. fixed it. so this is/was the problem. hopefully it'll last till next spring. thanks
