trying to wire up my altima fans so that one of each of the power wires is one with the car running, and the other two power wires (one from each fan) are wired to switches so that i can either have the fans on low or high with the car running, or low with the car completly off. here is my idea for the safest/simplest way to wire it using relays, fuses and switches but it doesn't seem that simple having to use 6 fuses and 3 relays, is there a better way to do this?

why do you need the fans to run if the car is off? it would help cool it a little but since the water pump isn't spinning most of that cool water will not reach the engine. IMO its not needed, but I will look over your circut schematic and see if there is an easier way to do it.

thanks, just for events and although it doesnt cool the cooling system much it does circulate air through the engine bay cooling everything down.

ps - is there a program to draw those electrical diagrams i see used alot?

the simpler way is to get a fan controller, ROFL.

those 2 light blue relays, you would only need one wired to both fans. you might find it easier just to use high speed and off, or get a temp sensor on the fan.

acually, now that i look at it that circut would not give you 2 speeds because you are not changing the voltage anywere in that circut at all. when you hit the second relay, it will give the fans more available current but the fans will still use the same as they did before since either relay will supply enough.

i beleive how the fans work is if either one of the circuits is energized, its on low, if both are energized, its high. mine hase one of each engergized at all times with car running and the other circuit controlled by switch regardless of running or not. if I use one relay to power both fans it needs to be a 60A correct?
