ANOTHER HID KIT PROBLEM!

i know its all you see on here but i have a problem that no one seems to have answered... im driving in the dark... i installed the HID kit i got from DDM. its the 6000k slim balast kit. i read through all the HID topics... installed them just like the directions say and even checked how everyone else put theirs in..but they dont fire up?. Everythings wired up correct and i even tried swapping sides on the lights. what should i do... im looking at relays or fuses? but the regular stock lights work fine? im in the dark literally

hmnot sure what you call it but look at the part where the lights hook up to the ballastddm tuning had alot of problems with the plastic part inside the ballast hookup on the wrong side so when you hook them up, they don't match

make sure its correctif not use a knife and just cut off the plastic part

ok that kinda makes sense... someone said something similar to that in another post... the fun part is getting back inside the wheel well now is it the part that clicks the ballast to the stock power source?

ya lol firas time i did it i was total noob and didn't know what the problem wasjacked up my car spent like 2 hours in my parking lot till ike 1 in the morning and couldn't figure it out so put everythign back

then did it again**** but atleast u know

lol yea man that was me all day today... girlfriend sitting next to me nagging the sh...t out of me. im all excited cus a new toy came... now i cant get it to work... i shall go at it again tomorow and hopefully prevail

I had the same issue with the ddm`s not firing up...after scratching my head for about 30 mins...i decided to take the plug that clicks in...and rotate it 180 degrees, then connect it. And it fired up...the only thing is that it doesnt click into place...so i just wrapped some electrical tape around it (i know, sounds pretty ghetto, but i havent had any issues thus far...and its been on for a while now).

ok ill try that... gonna go lay up under ol girl and take the wheel well apart again. hope this works... we spend $$$ on stuff its supposed to work right

Yea man you guys are the best... They fired up. like u said all i had to do was rotate the connectors. ill upload pics tomrow and i already got followed by 2 cops just driving down the street!
