Whats up peeps, just got a minor problem with hesitation when I'm sitting in neutral. I just dropped my motor back in the other day and got everything working good along with new plugs, wires, dist, fuel filter, and a new walbro 255. I also put a lightweight flywheel on if that makes a difference. Motor starts right up, idles good, but if I stomp the gas it hesitates before the tach goes up. If I slowly press the gas then it goes up as usual. I've checked everything and have no ideas. Compression is good. The only thing I have not checked is vacuum pressure cause I'm not sure were to hook the gauge to. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanx in advance

It could very well be a vac leak im sorry idk how to check vac pressure but im sure there is something on here or google so give it a look and then give it a try and see what happens.I know my car does it but its an automatic so its just the transmission downshifting so gay i hate automatics

Sorry for not being clear, 95 s14 with dual cam ka, 5 speed manual. I don't hear any leaks or anything, and tomorrow I'm gonna do the carb cleaner trick to see if i can find anything.

Pretty much running out of options so i guess i might pull the intake and do a total egr, and vacuum go over. Been reading about some freeze plugs in the intake that may be clogged.

Pulled the freeze plugs in the intake and poked them through, ran some seafoam, and have come to the conclusion that my exaust must be clogged at some point. I took the exaust off and tryed to shake it out and herd some stuff rattling around but nothing came out. Got a new exaust on order, and we will see what happens.

Figured out that it was the camshaft position sensor in the dizzy. Easy to figure out after I learned how to use a multi meter
