Surveillance camera footage of a new GTR meeting it's end with photos of the aftermath, I have to say based on the severity of the impact (hard enough to throw the parked car it hits into the air) the amount of damage behind the firewall is very minimal comparatively. The frame is obviously screwed, but for anyone inside the car you could definitely walk away from it. There's no sound, but I'm sure it made a big noise. Also take note how everyone just walks (no one runs) over to the accident scene, like stuff like this happens on a daily basis or something.

the GT-R sure can take a punch. The driver was a clearly a moron for the shear speed on a city street, but looking at the top video, it appears his wheel came off before trying to pass on the right between parking spots. I'm guessing he sideswiped something else hard prior to the crash sequence we just saw, making it even more crazy.

He did, look at the beginning of the video before the pass (:03) and you can see he clearly "taps" a parked car. I can't tell, but after that he may have come into contact with the moving car from momentum or over-correction before colliding with the three cars at the end of the clip.

I watched the first video from the other angle and was like "where the hell did that wheel come from? Haha. Was that yellow car a 510? I haven't looked at the aftermath pics yet...

Edit: Nope, not a 510.

That gtr is a tank, thats like something you do in grand theft auto. Hit a few cars so they flip, casually drive off in style with no hood.

At the current cost of a GTR plus the insurance to cover it your plan would make everyone in Amurica as broke as the US Govt.
