Ok so this is axle number three because of a leaking outer boot my repair guy said to just replace the hole axle less work of fine but I'm not paying the f*** dealer 700$ for a another one of those axle the boot keeps ripping, I don't even drive my car hard at all.
So my repair guy wants to use a aftermarket axle it's less money after looking it up it's got good reviews any thoughts?

You've had 3 OEM ones? I'm surprised, to be honest. Maybe something is structurally wrong with the car putting pressure on the axle/boot incorrectly? Ever hit a curb? lol

You will need to check me on this, but when I decided to go from the OEM 18's to a larger size wheel, my rep at Infiniti told me to not go over 19 inches as anything larger was not made to be used with my car and even if 20s were set to clear all suspension, etc they would cause excess wear on the entire suspension, axles, steering parts, ABS, and wheel berrings. Mind you, I do NOT have AWD but I believe we all have those boots.
I mention this because it appears from your pic that yuo might have 20s.

Not saying this is your issue ... but ...

Also, on the X models, all the tires and wheels need to be identical. Note that I did not say OEM, I said "identical". No staggering, nothing! But after market wheels can be perfectly okay. OTOH, if you do change the width and offset from the stock wheel values, make sure that the suspension axis extends to the same point on the ground to avoid unusual suspension travel arcs during its motion.

Basically, on an X model, if the front and rear axles rotate at different values (plus-1 kind of calculations do NOT work in this case, since the tire rolling diameters may be different for different wheel and tire combinations even if the calculated diameter is the same), this can put undue wear and stress on the Atesa AWD system ...
