Heated up the old ribbon cable and peeled it off.
Used some isopropyl alcohol and Q-tips to clean off the old glue and carbon contacts.
That took quite a bit of rubbing and about 3 Qtips.
Got a little help from the wife to stick the new cable down. 3 hands is handy!
While I was all apart, I disabled the TPS light with a piece of electrical tape too.
Now wish me good luck with the radiator fans saga!
