your going to need a high compression exhaust to go with your high compression attitude. try and keep your power gains tight.. no need to loose them

Go to youtube and search for 240sx exhaust and pick whichever you like. I wouldn't worry about power loss or anything like that cause I doubt butt dynos will notice that type of change in power.

my buddy works at an exhaust shop out in ocala and we had this discussion for awhile about what size to run, back pressure, sound etc.

i ended up running, header, 18" resonator, and 2.25" piping all the way back to my can, she sounds great! nice low tone til you get into about 5k rpms, then it SCREAMS. i love it, running 2.25 keeps your back pressure, while being signifigantly louder than stock but still keeping the nice mean low tone.

so incase my retarded rambling confused you, run 2.25" with a resonator and a can and your all set! (make sure its a good can tho)

post up a vid once you get her done!

well aside from buying a super expensive nice exhaust like most ppl do. if you get a nice header and muffler, then go to an exhaust shop (make sure the person making your system knos a thing or two about imports) you can usually walk away with only spending approx $200 or $300. compared to the other name brand ones youd usually spend double or triple that!
