So while my engine is out of the car, i have access to the egr system. Now if i take out the actuator off the intake manifold, it will leave 2 small rubber hoses. Those 2 hoses run to some sort of small solenoid system bolted to the back of the head. Also the FPR runs to them too as well as the 2nd butterflies. Now, I want to remove the egr, the butterflies and reroute the FRP hose to another part of the manifold. I want to remove that small solenoid system.

Will it throw a engine code? Or will the engine run like crap?

Ive heard removing the egr will cause the engine to ping, does it also do this with 93 octane?
