another dumpipe ?

i just want to know how everyone connected their wastegate dumpipes to their exhaust. i thought about just welding a pipe connecting the two, but that would be hard, and it would be hard to line it all up perfectly. plus it would put extra strain on the wastegate and manifold. i was thinking of maybe a small flex pipe, if they make one that small. or i was also thinking of just running it straight down and putting a little motorcycle muffler on it or something. just wanted to hear some opinoins.

I'm just gonna run my 2.25" into a 2.25 to 3" collector, and then weld a regular 2 bolt exhaust flange onto that to bolt onto my straight pipe. No flex sections...

I'm going to be running 1 3/4" exhaust pipe to a relatively long (vs diameter) small motorcycle muffler, and i'll have the pipe peeking out from behind the front wheel well.

imo, this is the best way to do it. you'll have the best of both worlds. the performance gains of running an open wastegate...but not have to hear all that god awful noise.

i like the noise of the wastegate opening sounds like its ripping off someones head in some sort of way. i have and still am thinkin of putting a muffler on it jsut so i can hear my exhuast and bov for once while boosting
