Anyone know if running a Walbro Fuel pump, Z32 fuel filter and Nismo FPR on my RB20 will make it run rich? I don't want it lean either. Don't know what to do here. Detonation=BAD. Don't have the money for a turbo upgrade either otherwise I would crank up the boost a little.

Uh...if you set the nismo fuel pressure regulator to the stock fuel pressure, then you have nothing to worry about.

So if the FPR is not on there then I'm screwed? You got a RB25 with stock turbo? 12psi is safe to run, right? The ceramic wheel gives way at 16psi doesn't it? I have an RB25 turbo on my RB20.

Like said above, if you adjust the FPR to stock, it'll be, well, stock. As for the Z32 MAF, you can't just slap it on with out something to tell the computer how to deal with it like a Power FC or at the least SAFC.

What Z32 MAF?

The Z32 fuel filter is just fine.

You can't take a RB25 turbo to 16 psi. Regardless of how much the ceramic wheel will take.. your fuel injectors will cut out before you can get there.

The stock RB20 injectors are 270cc.. which means you shouldn't push more than 240whp on them.. I've heard you shouldn't take the stock 25 turbo past 12 psi at most on a RB20.. I forget the numbers at the moment... maybe Carl H can jump in here and work them out for us..

Personally.. .until I get bigger injectors on there.. I won't my RB25 turbo past the Rb20 wastegate that's set at 10psi..

You should really look at getting an adjustable fuel pressure reg with a gauge and some bigger injectors before you up your boost. Don't want to see you melt any pistons.

Yeah. Melting pistons is what I don't want to happen. I can't up the injectors until I get a Z32 MAF, a new turbo and a Trust E-manage. The Army doesn't pay me well enough.

Right now, I'm just trying to avoid detonation and engine failure. You know? Carl H needs to jump in on the turbo stuff.

woops, I read/posted drunk. Thought it was Z32 MAF, not fuel pump. BTW, emanage is garbage, I wouldn't run it if i were you.

Get a wideband o2 sensor if your worried about running lean.
