another dumb question

I need to find out the firing order on the distributor cap for a 1989 240 KA24E. I think I may have, in a fit of idiocy, crossed two of my plug wires. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

from what u said, the wires arent crossed, but if ur standing at the driver fender looking at the motor, cylinder 1 is at the radiator and 4 is at the firewall. and its not 1423, wow, ur way off. its 1342. so in the same position looking at the distributor, it goes 3 14 2
