made another discovery about my ca18det today

turns out im running a J60 maf (rb)...always thought it looked odd for a stock and knew it wasnt a z32.
not surprised because my motor came with a chipped sr20det ecu (62) and runs perfect.

i wonder what size injectors i have??

makes me wanna rip the whole thing apart to see what other surprises are in there....to bad its my daily.

just thought id share that!

can you tell the colors of injectors? are they yellow or what? the color of plastic circle under the connector of injector

Yea, if you give us the color of the plastic top of the injector, we can tell you if they're uprated. Chances are if they upped the MAFS, the injectors are increased as well. If i had to guess, they're probably 440's. What size is the turbo?

Ill deff look at the injector color asap....the turbo is the stock ca18 t25

checked out the injectors today...there pink or peachish cuz the dirt and grim lol

sorry for the cell phone pic (8mp evo! ftw lol)...its 92 degrees outside with no shade so i cant really pull the plug to get a detailed photo

now i wanna rip it all apart even more!!! whats internal is wats got me curious!!

if they are that sized injectors my care runs great mpg wise on stock pump and fpr

I have the EXACT same color injectors. They are NISMO 550-ish cc injectors. You need a bigger turbo (T3/T4 hybrid), fuel pump, and boost controller. That thing will be a rocket. If you can't go that route, AT LEAST upgrade to an S15 T28. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

yea i wanted to get a s15 t28, and run it all on nistune!
i like the bottom mount set up! at least while the car is still my DD!

i have a hallman manual boost controller on it now.... did u mean an electric boost controller??
