Another Digi Speedo Thread..BUT I SEARCHED!

This is the situation: I just got my car and the digi speedo/ odometer/ dash lights don't work.

Replaced them and viola! it works. I start putting everything together and it stops working.

Now my speed doesn't light up. The only time it does is for a sec when I turn my head lights on and then off again.

Possible lose connection? I've almost re-soldered every single thing and my fingers are starting to hurt from playing with the wires that go into the speedo.

Suggestion?

that sounds like excessive voltage drop accross a power wire. i would go over as many of the power wires as possible and see if you can find a weak/limp spot in the wire.

I'm thinking about just getting a new wiring sub-harness that hooks up to the speed.

Do you think that could work?

your link therew doesnt work, but i am really surious as to what you replaced. does your clock dim when you put the brakes on too? my dash only seems to work when its REALLY hot out.
