another dead cruise control

Ive read everything posted about this topic and none can direct me to where I should be looking. I hope someone can shed some light.

I've checked the switches at the pedals, the light comes on at the switch beside the wheel for cruise on and off. I hear a relay in the computer box clicking when I turn that switch on and off behind the passenger foot rest. Ther eis NO light in my dash. Acuator? Is there a way to test? Ther are 4 wires should one get +12V? What about under the car at the transmission? Any suggestions?
