Dad called me up, my grandfather was getting rid of a recliner. I've got a rather sparsely furnished college apartment, so I figured what the heck. Dad grabs the recliner for me, and offers to bring it up in his truck when I was visiting.

After taking a few measurements I told him there wasn't a need and I bet him I could fit it in the back of my Versa. It took two attempts, and we wound up having to recline it out, and wiggle it in... In the end, well, the pictures speak for themselves.

It rained almost the entire way back, so I'm really glad I was able to get the door shut.

I didn't even think to post pictures of the recliner I hauled in mine a couple of months ago. It went in very easily putting the back in first instead of the bottom like yours is loaded. I had enough room left over to carry some folding chairs and an ice chest, too.

Did you try putting the back in first but still face-down?

Jaesin -

Would you mind if we added this to the portal page as either part of the existing tirestuffing article, or as an article of its own?

That's a pretty good example of how big these things actually are inside.

Yes, and it didn't go, had trouble getting the rockers in. We rotated it around, and tried again and it went in with just a little bit of wiggling.

And go ahead EV, I'd be honored .

The tire article is what inspired me to take pictures.

Your recliner must be a little bigger than the one I hauled.

Yep. Yours is bigger. Mine doesn't have the bulky arms or pillowed backrest on it.
