Another Coupe sob story

Saturday night I went out with some friends to the movies. We even went out of our way to goto the theater that has heavy law enforcement, the are very few kids, and is in a generally good area. While enjoying National Treasure 2, some A-HOLE decides to write "**** You" in ketchup on my trunk. Yea I was pissed but i figured its just ketchup, my cars do for the second wash of the week anyway (It's like 60+ during the day here). Well today I tell the coworker the story because you could still kinda see FU since i just took the car through a touchless wash... While he was looking he realized the reason you could still see it was because it was scratched into the paint. I called the movies and they instruct me that there are no cameras outside the theater, theres just 10 cop cars that sit near the entrance. Hows that for bad luck car is just 2months old and some idiot ad to mess it it. I know everyone is wondering "wtf did you do that would make someone want to mess with your car?" The answer is NOTHING. I'm a geek I dont fight I dont have some crazy ex girlfriend someone just randomly decided to hate on me and my car. With that story behind us... does anyone know if can get the dealer to buff it out? The scratches are light, but its deep enough o still see "K You"

Wow man, that's terrible. When ever I have LIGHT scratches, (dunno how light yours are) when I used to take my old car to get washed the guys at the car wash had machines to buff out scratches. Hope karma comes around and kicks that guy in the ***.

I'm always so anal about where I park my car and where I don't. My gf always mocks me but I ignore her. I REALLY hate it when some bum comes up to me just as I'm getting out of my car to go into like the movies or a mall or something and asks for change... 1. You say no, guaranteed your car is gonna be ****ed when you come out. 2. Give em some cash, all those trips can add up quick and leave you broke. Well not really but you get my point...

Sorry to hear about your car dude.If the scratches are only light the answer is yes.You can go to any detail shop and they should be able to buff the scratches out.It`s nothing you did,it`s jealous people who see someone with something nice and cause they can`t have it you shouldn`t either.Anyways man hope it works out for you.

man, when i was in highschool, i drove a integra...(this wasnt too long ago lol)

and i park at the far side, not where those show off kids park there old ghetto civics/accords... I kept it low and didnt really show it off, only my friends knew its my car

so 3 days in a row, people put ketchup and leaves all over my car (luckily no major scratches etc.)

then i was REALLY REALLY PISS, and i thought it was this grade 11 kid, i was so close to goin into his running class room and just drop him there lol

then later, i realized its some skater kids who dont even know me, nor do i know them who did it.

why do people do stupid stuff to peoples cars (3 times in a row, consective 3 days) and have no past grudge or anything, dont even know each others names...

but what i have for those kids are... F-ing Stupid

Dude that sux big time! As much as I love my coupe, hearing this justifies why I still drive one of my other cars when going to a potential "hazardous" location. Although working in New Orleans, that is a risk I have to take or I'd never get to drive the coupe!!

why would you call yourself a geek? that's not cool. if you drive a 3.5 a/c you have much more taste than a geek. to offset that, if you wear a pocket protector and high water pants on a normal basis you might be a little dorky, but by no means a geek if your pimpin a spankin' new A/C. i'm sure your scratches will buff right out no problem by the way

WOOHOO Finally another La person... This happened in Baton Rogue. This city has really gone down since katrina. I mis being 1hr safely removed from new orleans. Nice place to visit but i'd never live there. And in regards to me being a geek; I'm not steve Urkel or anything, I was just saying i'm not the type of person that is aggressive. But i have to take my car to the stealership anyway. Took it in for a oil change sat. morning and on my way home my TPMS started malfuntioning...

That is very sad. Sorry to hear about your car. It's unfortunate that the youth of America these days have no respect for anyone or anything. When I was groing up, my father made sure I was respectful to everyone and anyone, especially my elders. I guess we really can't blame the kids though, it's their parent's upbringing which molds them into what they are today It is a shame!

FYI... I never heard of anyone putting Cat-soup on cars before... What DO know is NEVER PULL ANYTHING OFF THE CAR.... Coke (highly corrosive), rubbing a bar of soap, and bologna are the top 3 dirtbag moves from my memory.... Coke will leave marks, soap will lighten paint, and BOLOGNA is the king.. laid flat on paint and left until dried out (an hour in the sun) the meat will bond to the paint and rip it off ENTIRELY if you pull the coldcuts! WET THE CAR.... This is not a how-to.. and i assume all the people here have respect for others rides..

When I was driving my other car, i got eggs thrown on my car, never ticked anyone off, parked in the same spot night, leave in the morning. One day came out to go to the airport and saw eggs splattered all over. Damn, my girl had to wash it for me while i travel on business and it still stink for days when I got back

I hear ya windex! I don't actually live in 'Nawlins but I do work on the outskirts of the CBD. I only go into the city when I have to, rarely ever just for a visit. I live in about 20 miles west of the "killing zone" in Destrehan (St Charles Parish). I know Baton Rogue is getting as bad as the Big Easy......but what about those TIGERS!! BCS Champs!!

This sucks. Get some touch-up paint at your local dealer and see if that can solve it.
