only things i could pick up from this was lol the obvious they both scored 4 1/2 stars. the negatives to the a/c was small trunk space, rear space. postives were the push start button and nice interior. the accord coupe had an aggressive front? is that what he said lol, not sure, the car's larger, the vcm system, and i cant pick up anything else on this video. anyone out there that can translate?

Well, according to them:Both have tight steering, which becomes looser at higher speeds, but withouyt becoming too loose. The Accord's brakes feel smoother, while the Altima's brakes are more harsh. The Altima Coupe feels like a sports car, and the Accord Coupe doesn't.Same warranty (36 months/60,000 KM [36,000 Mi])Dealer service/maintenance is much more expensive for the Altima.

Safety: Same airbag positioning, 4-wheel ABS and engine immobilizer in both cars. Accord: electronic traction control, electronic brake force distribution and electronic stability control. Altima: electronic traction control, electronic brake assist and electronic brake force distribution.

Keyless entry for both carsThe Accord Coupe's exterior styling is Honda's most aggressive yet, while the interior features dual A/C controls, an LCD monitor for navigation and so on, and the LATCH system for child seats. Twice the trunk space compared to the Altima Coupe. As for the Altima's exterior, extremely innovative chassis, aerodynamic design, headlights are noting special, comparable with any European sports car. They like the interior more than the Accord's, and the push button start is a major plus, very soft and comfortable leather, lots of space to see the gauges through the steering wheel, rear view mirror has the garage door opener and compass. The Bose audio system is the best on the market. Also has the LATCH system, lockable trunk, but too little trunk space.

Advantages:Accord: exterior design, chrome, VCM systemAltima: Shorter wheel base, Bose stereo, push-button start, interior design, rear end design (looks a bit like 350Z), dual exhaust

Disadvantages:Accord: Long wheel base, heavy, no HID lights.Altima: difficult to enter/exit back seat, 17" rims (compared to 18" on the Accord), small trunk, service cost.

Two very comparable cars, both featuring similar technology and both coming from sedans; no major details setting the two apart.

That's about it for what they had to say.

No worries. Anyway, they didn't really have anything new to say, just the same old things again... I do like the chrome window trim on the Accord though, I think the Altima's would look much nicer with it.

shouldn't this be opposite? Doesn't the steering become tighter at higher speeds?

I dont think so, no. tighter = faster turning. at low speeds, you want faster steering for more maneuverability. at high speeds, if you were to jerk the steering wheel, you would spin out or flip over, so they loosen up the steering so that if you do jerk the steering wheel, it won't turn as much, therefore hopefully preventing an accident.

Yup, good comparison, telling things how it is. Two very similar cars without anything too outstanding to declare a winner.

Not like the *other* guys, trying to seem unbiased while throwing around flowery adjectives.

Something like "The Altima felt slow and bulky, rolling with the turns like a boat about to capsize."

Pfft.

Thanks for the translation Mr. Music, but your take on the Steering wheel sensitivity is wrong. The speed sensitive steering is lighter at slow speeds (ie parking lot) so you can maneuver quickly to avoid any dangers, then at higher speeds the steering gets heavier to maintain stability.

OK, I get it now, lol. That's kind of what I *tried* to say earlier, but it is easier to understand in your words. thanks
