hello, i have a 95 240. When i put the car into 1st or reverse and leave my foot on the clutch it makes a low tone-winding noise, and a light clunkiness can be felt when im holding the shifter. but once i let off the cluth and start moving the noise goes away. every other gear feels fine, the clutch feels smooth, and the car drives good. anyone know what the problem might be? thnx

Probably the pilot bushing. Pretty common on manual trans RWD nissans.
