Ok so i finally need a new clutch. the oem has started to slip on me after 18 years and almost 200k miles of getting its *** kicked. I have searched for info on flywheels and can not find anything really about the spec 17lb billet flywheel. Has anyone used this or know anyone who has. I would like to not cut the weight of the fly wheel all the way down to 11lbs. b/c i want to auto x / circuit race the car every month or 2. Also anyone know what the actual centerforce dual friction clutch capacity is for the ka. It only says 90% above stock so i figured it would be good for when i go KAE-t this summer.

I only plan on running about 12-15 psi out of a super 60 so im not expecting to see above 300 hp.

I can't say about the centerforce clamping force, but I will say I will never use one again...ever. Had one in a 1983 Celica and the pedal effort went up over 100%. This was with their 30% increased holding clutch. It was a bear for something that was totally unnecessary, considering the car was still stock. Can't say if it was an isolated incident, but it was enough for me never to want to take a chance on it again. I had a very good experience with the ACT street clutch on my last 240sx.

I have the Fidenza FW and SPEC Stg IV clutch and I love them both. The clutch is barely stiffer then stock but will hold a ton of torque. I think the SPEC FW is fairly new. I use SPEC clutches in everythin manual I own and have never seen the FW.

But the products are awsome, so I'd say it's safe to assume that with there FW's as well.
