Hello, in this thread im gonna teach you how to pull your cluster and change out your old incandescent bulbs to nice bright LED lights. I'll assume a lot of you guys know how to do this but a lot of the threads had old broken pictures so I figured I would snag some pics since I was gonna be diving in there. This is a very easy job, 30 minutes all together and youll only need a phillips and flat head screwdriver, Lets get to it

Oh yeah, you can buy your bulbs here. http://www.ebay.com/itm/141671019789

Step 1: Remove the steering wheel column plastics and steering wheel (if applicable)

Step 2: Remove the screws above the cluster then pry the bottom corners of the cluster till they pop out. Shouldn't take much to pry them out, don't pry to hard and don't break anything

Step 3 (The hardest part): Gently pull out shroud surrounding the gauge cluster and remove the "dim" plug. Use your flathead to pry from the bottom. Study the picture and get and idea of how the clip works

Step 4: Remove the three screws holding in the cluster and pull it out.

Step 5: Remove your bulbs, Im only doing a few but same concept for all of them. Twist and pull out then pull out the old bulb and replace it with the LED.Some LED's are polarized so test them before you put everything back together. If they don't work, take them out and twist them around. In order for your dash lights to turn on, your "dim" must be plugged in. It acts as a mini amp for all the lights. Your clock back light won't come on until your key is turned 1 click.

I just did this on my S13 and didn't even think of the clock backlight. Oh well.
