Another check engine light

Hello guys been lurking around here for awhile just wanted to see if anybody had this problem and what's the best way to resolve this. My check engine light came on a couple days a go so went to auto zone to get the code it came back as p1815 manual mode switch probable cause or open or short circuit condition, mode select switch , position select select switch. Greatly appreciate any input.

Reset the light. Drive around using manual mode as much as possible and see if it comes back.
While driving, Observe the behavior of your transmission to see if anything is abnormal.
It could have just been a one time false alarm. If it comes back, you have more troubleshooting to do.
