Another A/C question

I have a 90 s13 with a redtop sr20. I've never needed AC before, but these 105 degree days are killing me. So after weeks of research I've decided to swap out ALL of the parts for air conditioning with a DOHC setup. I've been looking for someone with the entire setup, and I've found one. It's from an s14 though. So here are my questions:

Will the lines that go to the firewall attach to the s13 cooling unit (inside the cabin)?

If no, will the cooling unit from the s14 mount into the s13 system? <--- as far as I can tell from the fsm, this is impossible.

How would the fitment of all the s14 parts (condenser, etc) be in the s13 chassis?


Would this just be way too big of a job, or can it be done? Any input would be awesome.

I don't know for sure, but If it were me I wouldn't count on it. Just the update from r12 to r134a probably makes a substantial difference. It probably can be done with money and time. And patience. Sorry I can't really help much. Best of luck to you.
