Another 240 owner here~!

Hello!

I've been meaning to join, just never got around to it. I have a 91 240SX. Hatch. No real mods (nothing worth bragging about, anyway). Some coilovers and no-name brand wheels. Bought it off of some kid a year ago, and have been doing repairs on it. Come tax return, I'll be putting in some more money, as far as engine performance and suspension goes. Maybe throw in a small stereo system...since I kind of don't have one.

You have NO idea how right you are, about that. You should see some of our AMAZING cars. >__> everyone that owns a 240 (besides me, b/c I'm not cool enough) has some weird dangling thing on their rear tow hooks. We also have monthly "drift" events...which is really a small figure 8. And all of our badass "super dorifuto" drivers go... and it's a nightmare. I cry on the inside. I myself, haven't done it, but it's kind of disappointing to watch, when you hear all these guys BRAG about how good they are.. and you see them on the track and all they do is understeer into the corners or spin out.

Haha. I'm not worried about the attention, it was the only pic I had on this computer that was even decent. All my pics are from work. I'm not normal enough to take regular pictures, I guess. I fail at life.

Ahh, yes. Dangling things on 240's. I think it means you're automatically cool. Or hardcore, or something. The few times I've gone to our local meets, none of the 240 guys park near me or even talk to me. I think it's because I don't have dangling balls on my car. Maybe if I put dangling boobs???

I shall find a way to put pics on my car. I may need to invest in a camera for this. Or carry my computer outside and take webcam pics. Awkward.

My car is pretty stock, save for the wheels and coilovers. It has a bad spray can paint job on it (because the kids who owned it before me, thought it was a good idea to change it's ORIGINAL color of gunmetal to silver?????)

Maybe it it because I have boobs. The car people here act like high schoolers, especially at the meets. Probably one reason why I stopped going. It's a constant d!ck measuring contest. >/

He looked like a no-s*** pedo.

I agree. This place is kind of a black hole. I actually plan on moving in about 2 years, after I get my degree. Then I can transfer my credits to a University and get my bachelors. Yayyy!

That place is DEFINITELY a black hole. I once went into the strip club (not arety's angels, the other one near it,) 172 bucks bought me: 32 in atm fees, $140 worth of lapdances, and a number that never worked out anyway. also a 'never again' moment. for obvious reasons
