I am joining any class action lawsuit against Sony considering Sony informed me prior to giving them any kind of credit card information stating my information was safe.

An unpatched, no firewalled, Apache server does not protect my credit card information.

Sony deserves everything that happens to them. They brought it all upon themselves.

That's just solid gold. I'm glad I didn't jump on the PS3 bandwagon.

Wasn't Anon's whole point messing with sony and making them look bad?

And yet, after working their way through Sony's security and realizing what it was... they chose to keep this a secret for weeks until Geeks.com announced it?

The article is about an unsubstantiated claim only, and even mentions "If this is verified" it will be useful in court.

Just seems to me like Anon would have loved to have published these details if it was that bad. The fact that they didn't makes me question the validity here..

Good point. As more details are released I will update the thread.

It's an insurance policy. You need to have one million dollars in damages directly because of Sony's irresponsibly in order to file for your one million dollars. I hope no one needs the insurance plan but it would be nice to pay those for the time it takes to alert credit card companies, credit bureaus and the time it takes to change any automatic billing serves information.

did you actually watch a movie?

Mine lets me view the list of movies, but when I actually go to play it checks again, and then will have an failed to reach PSN message with in netflix itself, not the usual XMB one.

Also, mine started doing this early this week, before that it worked then one time I tried and I was logged out of netflix. Had to enter username and password again, THEN it stopped working...
ALMS did you get logged out first too?
