The annoying vibration was very light when I purchased my 2013 M37 a year ago. Since then, it has gotten a lot stronger and is felt through the chassis while driving above 50mph for the duration of the trip. I've noticed the vibration isn't constant, it comes and goes around every 3 seconds. I thought it was unbalanced or possibly bent wheels but it continued even after swapping to new wheels and tires two weeks ago. I wonder if it could be a control arm, ball joint, bushing, hub bearings, or a motor mount. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

There aren't any noises or humming. Thanks for your reply.

I have 2011 M56x. I had this issue, had my friend a Nissan tech look the car over and I had a bad left wheel bearing. The dealership fixed it. After that it improved ALOT, but I do get some vibration at 80mph + its annoying because it is smooth at 35-40 mph and at 70 but in between sometimes i get shake.

I think I need the tires to be properly re balanced and possibly aligned again.

Take it to another place and make sure the tires are balanced properly. I guess some techniques are more advanced than others?
