A few nagging issues have been troubling me here of late.
My engine's been clacking recently, so I pulled the stephoscope out and found that injector 3 sounds like it's having a heart attack. What I want to know is do the injectors break so that they go full open, do they just not work period, or is it random if closes or goes open when it dies?
Why I'm wondering if it goes full open would explain my next nagging issue. I've been leaving ash all over my bumper since I got the car in September. I'm not burning oil. At least it's not a noticable amount on the dipstick. Since the temperature took a drop, I have noticed one small cloud come out of the car when I start in the morning and rev it for a second. There is no smoke at all after that (aside from the normal early morning steam). I've been brushing it aside telling myself that it's steam, but now my inner voice is telling me it might be more than that. When I go WOT, i'll leave a small puff behind, but again, this only happens on really cold days.
Last issue is that the engine feels like it's bogging constantly. Has anyone else noticed their SR's bogging slightly? I'm wondering if the weather has just gotten a bit too cold for the engine to work effeciently. The engine will pick up, but only after the ambient temperature has picked up and after the engine has warmed up. (which is why i think i'm worrying over nothing there).
Sorry for the length of the post, I"m kinda rambling, but also trying to get some answers as well.
