Annoying Rattle

I recently purchased an '08 Coupe. When driving on the highway there is a rattle that seems to be coming from the A-pillar on the drivers side. What is the easiest way to remove the pillar? Anyone else have this issue?

yeah, from what i've heard it's a fairly common problem. i think some people have taken it into the stealership before, but haven't found anything wrong. search aroudn the forum a bit, i'm sure you can find something.

Nothing bad... This happens sometimes at highway speeds. It's never annoyed me enough to seriously consider dealing with it. My loud exhaust usually just drones over it.

i was gonna post something about exhaust noise is already noisy enough haha .. little rattle is normal for me

I hear rattle coming from every direction in the coupe...just have to deal with it i guess.

Same here Sucks even more now that I got my subwoofer in the trunk. Most of the time that will drown out the rattle, but some songs have waaaaay to much bass and I end up just skipping them because the rattle is annoying and I don't want to mess with my audio settings.

those are two very distinct sounds, there's no way those two are getting mixed up. the heatshield sounds very metallic, the rattling of the coupe itself does not.

I have the same issue. A buddy of mine suggested that it might be the seal around the windshield. He had the same rattling noise and when he replaced his windshield and got it resealed the noise went away. I don't know if that's what it is or not, just a thought.

That gives me warm fuzzies about my windshield meeting my face.

seems I`m not alone on this one either... my coupe rattles somewhere in the headliner area near the front of the sunroof... Thought it was just a cold weather thing, but apparently not, it does it all season long... I won`t take the car in to have them play with it, I`ll just live with it...

one a serious note, in all my years of driving I honestly have to say that these 2 new nissans have had the most noise issues from any other manufacturer that we have owned... sad... But I do like the style, comfort, and overall satisfied with what they are, sub compacts...
