['91 240SX Hatch] Annoying Idiot Lights Flashing?

Hey, started having this problem about one month ago.

Basically, when my car is running, the Brake Light and the Battery Light flash and make an extremely annoying clicking sound. From 0-1000 RPM it's extremely fast and can sometimes sound like a whine, while the higher I go in RPM's, the slower the lights flash.

I had a belt break off the alternator, and when that happened, the brake light and battery light also lit up, but they stayed lit. I had the oil changed the other day and asked my mechanic to check out the Alternator and Regulator and make sure everything was working in sync, and he said he found no problem.

Anyone know what's going on?

how trust worthy is your mechanic? test your alternator cable pull on the wire and see if it come loose. and also check if the nut is tight. remove your belt and spin the alt pulley my hand see if it spin freely. i personal still suspect the alternator not charging or the belt is too loose.
