Took my new '07 coupe into the dealer this week to find the buzzing rattle that I've put up with since day one. Went for a drive with the service manager and I specifically asked him if he could hear it. He said yes. Two days later I'm told that there are no noises in my car that aren't "normal" for the model. I specifically told them that I can hear it while talking to someone on the bluetooth connection. It is most pronounced at higher speeds on rough pavement, expansion joints, drunk bumps, etc... I think it's coming from the bluetooth interface above the rearview mirror. Anyone have any suggestions?

Make sure it's not coming from the air vents. Put a little pressure on them and see if it stops. Next, check the rear-view mirror. Again, put pressure (grab from top to bottom) and see if the noise stops. I don't have the bluetooth...so can't help there.

I've had this exact same buzzing/ Rattling in my '07 Sedan... I've taken it into the dealer twice about this and they keep putting foam batting in the bluetooth/ map light compartment. This works for about a week, but then the clickity clackity sound returns... Very annoying sound when it's quiet in the car, but the dealer keeps telling me it is a design issue that they have experienced before. Best thing is to log it with your dealer, and if it becomes such a nuisance then keep Bitching to them about it 'til they fix it... NEW CARS SHOULDN"T RATTLE LIKE THAT!

I have a BUZZING sound at low rpm's every time I drive the car. Is sounds like exhaust vibrations to me under the drivers side of the car. Right around 2000rpms under load.

Anyone else have this? 2007 G35 sedan.

This is one area of the car that I really get annoyed with. I hate rattles and buzzes. I've had 3 of them since I got the car. One was fixed two weeks after I got the car, one was fixed last week, and a third is there coming from what sounds like under the passenger seat - a buzzing sound that resonates with the revs of the engine.

I also have a rattling sound coming from the light/bluetooth mic area, but I found out that this was my sunglasses in the sunglass holder... This i7200 miles on an '07 G35x sedan. My BMW 330i had no rattles, so that's definitely an area that they are better in.

turn up the radio and you won't hear it......not trying to be a d!ck but infiniti's are really bad with rattles and are very hard to find...and the techs don't get paid to find them. warranty won't pay them to test drive it or diagnose it.

Yup, I knew that coming in - or at least I knew that the first generation G35 had a lot of rattles. I was hoping this had been sorted out with this 2nd generation. I still prefer this car to my old 330i. I love my G, but the rattles are annoying. Most of the time I do drive with the music up, and it doesn't bother me. However, when I'm on the phone, or have the music down, it does bother me.

Infiniti has improved a lot over the last 10 years - perhaps this is the next area that they could improve in. Any $30k+ car should not have rattles that can't be fixed in my view.

Regards,Tamir

i promise you i spent an hour just about every single day if not more NOT getting paid to test drive and take apart panels to TRY to find rattles that i don't ever hear when driving the car. so this takes away from my paycheck and away from my bills because infiniti can't take care of their techs

At least you're putting the blame in the right place. Gotta be frustrating.
