Angular Tightening Method

Could someone please explain this method. I am putting my KA24DE together and the connecting rods state that they have to be torqued using the angular tightening method.

It requires an angle gauge to use the angular tightening method.

I know I know, bad blackhat... no Monty Python quotes...

But really, what do you do with it? I thought you just threw the bolts in and started torqueing?

Ratchet goes on gauge face side.Socket goes on backside.Set gauge at "0".Socket goes to bolt to be tightened.Little arm gets set at a fixed position.(ie, arm doesn't move)Turn ratchet until needle reaches the degree (Angle) you need.
