angel eyes, pop ups

hey so ive been searching around, and i found a DIY mod where you can make angel (aka Eagle eyes) with just a blind rod and an LED. and they end up looking like this:



So i was wondering if anyone had taken apart the 240sx popup headlights lamps before? i've heard that you can just throw em in the oven...

also, what kind of glue can be used to reseal the case?

there is a diy in the how-to that is titled something like "tsx projectors" there is some info in there you may find useful, honestly i would not do this, and i would recommend doing the projectors, because they look cool and you will probably be able to see better at night.
