Hey guys

I live in Dubai, UAE. There are a lot of cars with angel eyes modification in here. Unfortunately the Altima coupe is not that common in Dubai, so if I were to put the angel eyes modification I have to put them on the original headlights, but I heard that if the headlights were not sealed well then moist will cover the lights, is this true? If so, any suggestion on how to seal the headlights well?

I read that one member in nico does the headlight modification, I saw some pictures of his work, really impressive! :bigthumb:

I know a bunch of guys with WRXs get HIDs installed with angel eyes from Lightwerks. If you can afford to send your lights away for a few days, I know these guys do the best work.

Well ya, If i want to send the headlights to Lightwerks it will take more than just a few days, as I have to ship them to a different country!
I think there are some workshops who can install the angel eyes in here, I want to know if you guys are familiar with the issue I mentioned earlier, and if you know how to get around it.

As for the fogging, I helped a buddy take apart headlights on his civic. Unless you work in a lab or something and could purge them with nitrogen, I don't know of any way to guarantee that fog won't form. Just do your best to make sure that the environment is as DRY AS POSSIBLE when you re-seal them. You could try running a dehumidifier on max. However being in Dubai, I'm guessing humidity isn't really an issue?

lol
actually humidity is the biggest issue in here, that is why I'm so concerned about this

humidity is almost always more than 75%

Thanks for your help guys

I think I'll just install the kit and hope that I don't get fog inside the headlights

I baked my headlights (opened them), painted the inside black and sealed them with silicone and I havent had any issues. It's been about a year or 2 since I did it. It only fogged up for the first day and then it went away.... best thing you can do so you dont have to ship your lights around the world, is buy the Ebay projector lights. they come with the halos and you'll have projectors too. Ebay lights for other cars sometimes fog up so just go over the seal with a lot of silicone and it wont let any moisture in.... then you'll have halo projectors.
