Glad to hear you two are making progress; it is frustrating to have something not work as intended.

I have an ipod that I leave in the middle counsel that works fine, I have files loaded into MusicBox that work fine (rarely used), and I can stream via BT from my Nexus 5 perfectly. The only issue I have with the radio is that XM doesn't sound as good as the other forms but I don't subscribe so I don't care. I actually have my phone set-up so that as soons as it detects my bluetooth connection with the car it will automatically load Pandora or Google Play.

withomps44, how are you able to stream Spotify via USB?

I'm not smart enough to know that... but I know I can just select a station or a playlist on spotify and listen via Bluetooth or if I want to charge it I can plug it into the USB.. :gotme

It's a possibility it's playing via BT and charging via USB...that could be the case. Not actually streaming via USB. I don't see that as being possible based on the hardware.

That being said, I have confirmed it doesn't see the phone.
I have an LG G3 and my Bluetooth streaming works flawlessly and I had it setup in 30 seconds. Never static or loss of connection. Recognizes song names instantly. You might be doing something wrong.

Edit: I see you figured it out.

Yeah it was an SUE (Silly User Error).

That being said, I also had to go out and buy a legit Apple iPod to USB cable...the one from RadioShack developed a 'crackle' on playback.
