What wheels will fit on my 91 q45? I saw some real nice 2003 m45 wheels on ebay. My tire shop guy has some aftermarket wheels that look similar, but I would rather have the oem wheels. I have went through the postings but could not find anything on my setup.ThanksReid

Basically, any take off wheels from any nissan will work... The exceptions are the new M wheels (06+), and the 2006 350Z Track wheels...

03 M45 wheels will fit... a splendid choice.

Beware of 3rd party cheapy wheels. Always verify strength and weight.

Read all the wheel threads here before you jump.

Always best to choose the tire first, then find a wheel to accommodate it and the car. The tire is what interfaces with the road and determines performance, not the wheel providing it is in specification.

Lino that looks sweeeeet!I basicly inherited this car from my son when it started acting up and he lost patient with it. His mom bought him a toyota corolla to replace it with Since I got it running right I have been getting lots of ugly looks, cant wait to get these wheels on it. I may have to keep it hidden I already have started holding on to the keys. The gas kept disappearing and the milage adding up.... Reid

The bottom 5 pics are of a member's car here on NICO whose name is AZHitman. I love those wheels too.

Here's a link to give you some info on oem wheels:http://www.wheelcollision.com/infin.htm

Alrighty then! Won the wheels Now what kinda tires? I finished putting on the struts and tie rods yesterday the rear struts were flat the ride is much firmer now. Also flushed the engine with BG and changed the grease in the diff.

Redid the leather seats in the front this car is really coming together almost time for a road trip!

If you want the best performing tires, either the PS2 or F! in 245/45-18, provided these are 8 inch wide wheels (measured at the bead).

Thats "Michelin Pilot PS2" or "Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3" in a 245/45-18 size.

FYI ... both will fit on a spec'ed 7.5" rim too - but that is the lowest width you should go for these tire sizes! The 2003/4 M45 wheels are 7.5", btw.

My tire guy recommended some 225/45 kumho tires that are speed rated. I dont know much about those tires they sound korean but have good specs. I do need good handling but do not want to compromise ride quality. Are the 245/45 tires the same diameter as the 225/45? I dont want to change the tire higth and mess up the speedometer.

I would like to jump on to this thread.

It has been recommended, by more than one on this forum, to go to 18" wheels because of limited selection of high performance tires as wheel size goes down.

If I read the specs correctly on the average weight of 18" wheels and tires available it appears that the unsprug weight per corner will be up about 6 lbs! over oem wheels and tires.

Two questions;

1. What impact will that have on an "active suspension" car?

2. Opinions on the Yoko ADVAN Neova AD07 compared to the two tires recommended above (these would be 255x40x18)?

Thanks for the info.

Bruce
