Having a couple of problems. My 91Q was missing real badly on start up and would clear up once the engine warmed up. I have the 94 injectors and they check out ok between 10 and 13 ohms. I had just installed new knock sensors about 3k miles ago. Now they are showing open

The last oil change was 4k miles ago I always use mobil one and change it at about 5k miles. I went ahead and changed it anyway. The miss got much better but is still there must of had a pluged filter reducing oil pressure to the lifters? Just a guess. Should I do a bg flush or look elsewhere for the miss?

Also I hooked up a 93 ecu to check and see if it was ok so I can get Wes to reprogram it. OMG the car shook and missed something horrible! Does it need to run for a while to get used to the engine or is it just a bad ecu?

Ok 1 more there is a oil leak on the pass side valve cover. I would have terrible time pulling the cover. Idea how about if I cleaned real well with brake cleaner and pulled a vacuum on the engine to pull the silicone in to the opening anyone ever try that? Thanks

Did you change the KS harness also?

93 ECU sounds funky. Don't know how to check it except to change out wiht known good one.

Vacuum idea is kinky, but I imagine it will leak again under pressure.

Yep changed the harness as well. Funny thing was I have not really noticed a change in performance they might have been bad from the start. Does the nico ecu ignore the knock sensors? I wish someone close had a consult it would make my life a lot easier.

The 91 octane tune doesn't but the higher tunes do, I believe.

Check with Wes. NICO should be noticeable improvement.

Well the missfire is almost gone. I put a can of seafoam in the gas. And it cleared up most of it. It still has a slight shudder as it always has had. Nothing I do will get rid of it I`m thinking of changing the ox sensors as it only does it at idle and they are original. I saw some on ebay but I am leary of them. Does anyone know where to get them besides the dealer?

Perhaps when pigs fly this will work, but I'll be skeptical even then.

Have you tried slapping a torque wrench on the VC bolts? Mine leaked at purchase, but no longer. All I did was snug them up. It will probably leak in the future but for the last 8K it has been bone dry.

The misfire is beyond my pay grade.
