It causes the timing to be advanced. The level of advancement is highly dependent upon what size injectors he uses (how much reduction in the MAF signal). With 370's, it's not so bad. The main timing concern comes with boost levels over 8-9psi, which would still be present without the timing changes caused by the SAFC2. Most people won't run larger than 550's because of the lack of adjustability and the impact on timing. I'd say he'll be fine. I'm betting he's done his homework before ordering his parts.

yeah man I want bigger than 370 cause they dont support the power I am hoping, but the 480's, I think that is what you said, sound good. Thanks for the advise. For the 5 speed swap All I need is a drive shaft, I was just gonna get the old one cut. I got an 92 s13 at a junkyard for trading my auto transmission!

alright I just bought the 480's I had been looking for somthing like that. I am not too sure how to tune the setup, but I am taking it down the road to a turbo shop that said thry would dyno tune with a wideband for no more than 350! Any one out there with simmiliar setups care to share maps to give to them so I can cut down on my dyno time/$$$$$.recap i got a t304e .70 compressor/.63 a/r90mm infinity maf255lph fuel pumptial 38mm wastegatehks ssqv bovgreddy intercolerand a top mount manifold480cc seatchworks fuel injectors

any info would be awesome. The guy at the turbo shop said to expect ~300 WHP! I hope so cause that would be some nice power!

i hope u checked ebay for those injectors also because they sometimes have em up there for like ten bux less. yes u may only be saving ten bux but hey thats like half a gas tank. also with that turbo, i would be very surprised if u didnt put down at least 300rwhp. just make sure ur tuned right and remember to get colder spark plugs. good luck with it

SAFC2 + that turbo + stock ECU + the 12psi it takes to make 300whp = blown motor. Gotta have some timing control. He'll prolly make around 250ish on around 8-9psi, though.

I emailed enthalpy to see if a ecu can be programmed for my setup, I started out trying to do this right and that is what I wanna do. If I get that ecu My only weak points should be the bottom end, right? That will come later! I got more parts in today, my greddy fmic!!!!! and turbo oil lines and...my intercooler piping!!!!. So close I can almost smell it!!!!

Any one got some gauges for sale, boost and oil psi? I am in need!

Ecu is always best tune. Still need a wideband to fine tune. Just bought one for 260 from sparkplugs.com had a group buy going on and it's still running. think 10 have gotten them so far
