Well after 22 days I got my SuperTech's in. I skipped my last class at U of O to go take the block, crank, flywheel, pistons, rods, etc to the machine shop. All I have left is Ivan's shipment which includes full valvetrain, V3 cams (when Crower gets their head on straight), Clevites, Injectors, Resistor box, etc etc. But at least it's started, and I am sure all the rest will arrive tomorrow or the next day. 2 months later and finally I will be able to drive to the Shell station and tell them thank you.

PS: I also got a full Q45 brake upgrade w00t. Pictures and write up will be on here soon.

Hawk HPS...good street pad.

Oh, yea, staying on topic...sounds like an awesome engine build! Those cams look very nice from they dynos that Ivan posted. Care to post a list of labor and charges so people can get an idea of what different things cost?

Shell stooge put 87 octane in my 1 bar set-up, didn't notice, hit boost, kaboom. I get pissy, Shell hands me over 3400 bucks cash to shut me up.

Pads for the Q45's are Axxis Ultimates, also got brand new brembo 4 lug rotors with the deal.

I don't have any labor charges because I am sponsored by a shop and I just work on my car there. However, for resizing/rebushing rods, shotpeening, boring, magnafluxing, decking, honing, removing and installing new oil galley plugs/coolant freeze plugs, painting the block, and a few other tidbits from the local machine shop it was 520 bucks. Might be a little more/little less when it all is said and done.

Trick is to be extremely aggressive, legal sounding, keep all your proof, record everything and simply out smart them. Also if you keep it around the cap of small claims court they won't bother with lawyers. With me I just bitched at the local manager, then onto the local owner, then onto Shell Corporate sections, finally onto their insurance provider Allied. PWNED!
