I was on the way to the beach last night when a plum of steam billows out from beneath my hood. I stopped immediatly to check it out and couldn't tell where it was comming from but managed to get home by adding water halfway there. Today I took a closer look at it and found that I have about a 3 inch crack along the top endtank (this is all I can think to call it, it's the top tank). My question is whether there is anyway that I can get this fixed temporarily until I can get a better one. If it was alluminum it would be simple, but the tank is plastic so I'm not sure. I just can't quite afford a nice Koyo yet and need a temp fix if there is one.

no you need to replace the radiator. you should throw a t-stat and a rad cap on to. it cracked most likely due to pressure.

check out Radiator Express if you want a new one, they have all metal ones for around 115$.......don't try and buy their "all metal 2 row" radiator tho......because that animal no longer exists...I know......I tried!!!

It seems that they only have the two row and it's $164. That is almost the cheapest price I have found though. I can get one for $159 from another place. I REALLY want to pick up a nice Koyo, but I don't have $350 and can't afford the wait for one right now. I have no car until I get this fixed. Unexpected repairs on your only car suck.

I recently replaced my single row core radiator with a 3 row radiator from a 260Z and bolted Altima dual fans to this. I'm running only one fan and is sufficient enough to cool. Absolutely no heating problems now and I'm down in Miami.http://webferret.search.com/cl...,,aolGot Altima fans from Car-part.com for $40 + shipping
