Hello... new guy here.

Well new to the forums, that is.

I would like to introduce myself (Rodney) and I have been a Nissan driver for quite a while now. Started this 86 Maxima in Seattle:

Image

Lost her due to a broken timing belt while loading her onto a container for Germany... but after 2 years of driving BMW 3 Series, I returned back to the States and settled in with an mid year 05 Altima in California:

Image

...then left California for Texas towing my Altima with this 07 Armada:

Now, with my son screaming for a car and the wife claiming the Armada, I decided to go after the car I wanted, a 2009 Infinity G35. Instead, I wound up with this latest car... as is:

So I have quite a small history with the Nissan brand, And I am already an odds on favorite of obtaining a GTR... once I hit the lotteryl!! Even then, I could never get rid of my girls... all have proven their weight in gold. Thanks for looking and I hope to see y'all around.

Welcome aboard! Nice fleet you've got going on right there.
My first car was a 2-tone 87 Maxima that I bought for $100. Such an awesome car.

All my rides are Navigation equipped, however the Altima is the only one with an aftermarket system. I guess that has something to do with it coming with just a AM/FM/CD player. So, I threw in a Kenwood DDX6019 headunit, added a Kenwood GNA510 Navigation System...

Image

.....complimented it with the Kenwood Music Keg....

Image

....then backed it up with a pair of Kenwood LZ-702IR Headrest Monitors.

Image

I then switched out the speakers with Infinity 1050CS component speakers in the front with a Boston Acoustic Subwoofer and rear deck speakers serving as the subs and rear drivers.

Image

All of those are being pushed by two Alpine amplifiers; a 800w Mono for the sub and a 360w for the rest of the speakers.

Image

As for the 370Z... there are only two companies I would like to do business with to get my car the way I would like it; Carbon Signal Automotive (https://www.facebook.com/pages/CarbonSi ... 1703692623) and GTM (http://www.gtmpower.com/). Carbon Signal makes the baddest CF trims on the market, and GTM is the manufacturer of the GTR killer, a GTM 800hp and GTM 1000hp powerplant for the 370Z. But at $45,000 for that powerplant, I better shoot for a less water-downed version, the GTM 600 Twin Turbo package.

... now only if they can do a Nissan Armada.... :naughty:

Nice fleet man, as for the Armada, keep an eye on V8 supercars, the Altima that Nissan is running in the series is powered by a non-production VK56DE and makes 650hp.

Id say for the time being get a second set of wheels with some stickies and take it to the track. Lots of fun near the limit.

WD's pretty used to people being offended by him but I'm pretty sure that wasn't his intent here. ;)

No offense meant at all. I said that in all seriousness. Lots of fun to be had out on the edge. Everything has limits, finding them is part of life.

OK lol, just the way you typed it I was like: "Is this guy poking fun at me or reaffirming that driving a sports car at the limit is rectum-puckering awesomeness" lol
