I'm without my 6MT for 24 hours!!!!!

The wheels had curb momentos when I bought it, the dealer said they'd fix them free and give me another g as a loner, a 2008.

I walk outside to my new temporary ride and

Its a 4door 5at

not cool.

But I must say, that new key and push button is sweeeeet.

I'm impressed with the power of the 5AT, even in a sedan!

Go enjoy driving someone else's car for a while!

Very true, it does have a kick to it. That pre-rev-up before it drops into a gear is very strange to me. My sister's new Mustang does it too. I haven't driven an automatic in close to a decade, so I find the delay annoying.

Try manually shifting it. (DS mode) It is fast, crisp and 0 lag. Plus it has rev matching on downshifts.

I feel really bad for you having to "rough it" in a new 2008 G!

I hope you make it buddy!

Yep! The DS Mode is the real deal. I had a loaner twice, and first thing I did before going to work that morning, was to take it out for a spin. Flogged the loaner like crazy and was as impressed as AZHITMAN. What i enjoyed the most was flogging ti to the point where the swirl technology in the intake became very loud. That sound just gives me goose bumps, when I think about it.

Not that I would know, but since my wife's G-ride was in the shop getting the radio replaced (still not done... 2-3week backorder... ), but we were given a loaner (base '08 G35 sedan/5AT --nice bene). I'm sure that more than one person has dogged this car out and I'm sure that more than one person tested the true capability of this car v. their own ... and ... the tires seem to have been worn a bit ...

...I'm just sayin' ...

I wish the DS mode was that snappy on my '04 coupe. Obviously Infiniti made improvements since my MY.

I promise that 08 automatic sedan would you stick shift 06 coupe LOL but understand you missing something to do while you drive.

Heres a video of my race in my 2007 AUTOMATIC sedan Vs a 2006 350Z. The owner of the 350Z is in my passenger seat in this run his buddy is driving the 350Z. I raced the Z several times beating it by .3-.5 everytime.

There's alot of stuff going on in that 08 Sedan, buttons galore. But I have mine back now and couldn't be happier

They did an amazing job on the rims. Other than the very very slight texture difference, you couldn't even tell that they were dinged up. Very nice.

Ask Jacko how he does it? He makes love to his G so I assume he sleeps with his?

I know you ladies can sometimes get all confused with all the new fancy gadgets and buttons and silicon chips in these new fangled cars so I'm glad to see you survived your traumatic experience and got your baby back...
