Anyone know how I can fix this, without buying side skirts and covering it up?

You need a dent puller. There are many made so are el cheapo some are nice. I had the same problem on my old hatch.

I went and borrowed a dent puller, it comes with a 'gun style' welder, rods, and the actual pull bar. All I had to do was put it onto bar metal, squeeze the trigger, adn it welds the small rods (2-3 in) onto the body. Then you grab your pull bar, put it over the rod and and tap it out.

Might seem hard but took me about 2 hours to get it looking nice so that only a small amount of grinding and filling had to be done
