The clock in my 1993 J30 is not keeping time properly. It usually ocurrs more when the car has not been driven for a couple days. Is this an indication of a worse problem?

If the car starts and runs fine I would say it's not a low battery or bad alternator. It's rare, but the clocks do fail sometimes. You should be able to pick up a cheap replacement on eBay if you look for a while.

That's what I'm thinking too. Thanks.

When my clock slowed down, it was a bad battery.

Car battery or clock battery. I just replaced car battery 2 years ago.
