a little while ago I was having problems with my Alt. Fuse blowing constantly, I still don't know what originally caused it.

I found two wires cut on my wiring harness and a 3rd ground type wire. I reconnected the ground type wire (to the alternator) and the car worked for a day then blew the fuse again. Well it seems that it was wired wrong and was causing a power surge. So the correct ground wire has been spliced and reconnected to the alternator. The car funs great now no more electrical problems.

BTW I tried Seafoam and that stuff is great, cleared up minor bad idle and te car runs smoother now.
