Now its pretty simple, with all the talk, can you run ka24e pistons on ka24de rods with ka24de rings in the de block with just a ecu tune from jim wolf???!!!? (And 93 octane). It seems very few people have a real answer. Im looking for the full story here. (I smoked the rings due to a bad tstat now wanting more power with only 45k on my block. Also would I wanna get new rod bearings?) Also.. any other upgrades that would support this swap would be appreciated. Thank you, matt.

Thank you sir for the simple reply. Only thing left is rings. Do I run e rings with the pistons or will de rings be a better fit for the cylinders? ***valve clearance*** is there enough valve clearance with crower stage 2 cams and the e pistons? I've read there's alotta worry about the valve clearance already without an upgraded cam

thats a good question, I will leave it to be answered because I honestly do not know.

you may need to get the pistons cut with the stage 2 cams , yes its a worry!

Thanks never lift, I think I may just wait on the cams being the tune is half the price of just about everything else im getting. If I do cams ill just shoot for forged rods and pistons.( that's a whole nother ball game though)
